Saudi Arabia awards first utility-scale wind project
Saudi Arabia The Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources said in a statement it had awarded the project to a consortium led by Abu Dhabi’s <a href=’https://staging.theenergyyear.com/companies-institutions/masdar/’>Masdar and France’s EDF.
The 400-MW Dumat Al-Jandal wind farm will be located in the northern province of Al Jouf and will supply electricity for up to 70,000 households.
