Oslo-listed Shelf Drilling has secured a contract for the Shelf Drilling Fortress jack-up rig with an undisclosed North Sea operator for work in the UK continental shelf, the company announced on Tuesday.

The estimated duration of the engagement is 400 days with a contract value of approximately USD 54 million. The planned commencement of operations is August 2024 in direct continuation of the rig’s current contract.
