Shell eyes higher production in Brazil
Brazil With a current output of 879,000 boepd, Lula is Brazil’s most productive field. The start-up of the P-67 and P-69 platforms in 2019 will help the field reach peak production, Cristiano Pinto da Costa, Shell’s general manager for Santos Basin fields, told Reuters.
Pinto da Costa also said the super-major was assessing the possibility of a third development phase for its offshore Lapa field, adding that an investment decision for drilling would come after 18-24 months.
