In effect since August 8, the decision followed the discovery of a leak on the Eastern Gas Gathering System-1 pipeline, which has since been shut down for “a joint investigation visit into the cause of the leak and repairs,” the Nigerian unit of Shell said, adding that supplies would continue to NLNG via other conduits. The NLNG export facility is located on Bonny Island.
