The Norwergian major awarded four five-year contracts, each with five options for a one-year extension. The three other contracts are for a duration of three years and come with three options for a one-year extension. Ugland’s Juanita vessel and the Havila Foresight and Havila Charisma, both owned by Havila, are contracted for three years.

The Sjoborg supply vessel, Solstad Farstad’s Far Searcher and DOF’s Skani Mongstad and Slamdo Flora will be put to work under the mentioned five-year contracts.

“We look forward to a long-term cooperation with the chosen ship owners. The contracts will bring predictability to both the ship owners and Statoil, and will allow us to focus on optimising our operations to continuously improve operation, safety and energy efficiency,” Statoil’s senior vice president for joint operations support, Philippe F. Mathieu, said in a press release.
