Suriname launches offshore bid round

PARAMARIBO, November 17, 2020 – Suriname has launched a shallow-water bid round in its unlicensed and underexplored offshore area, state oil company Staatsolie announced on Monday.
The blocks are located south of the recent deepwater discoveries made by US firm Apache in Block 58 and northwest of the onshore producing fields.
The data room will open on November 30, 2020, and bids will be accepted until April 30, 2021.
