Technip’s scope of work on Triton will include the installation of two flexible risers (one 9 inches and the other 6 inches in diameter), fabrication and installation of one dynamic umbilical riser, removal and recovery of existing assets at the floating production, storage and offloading vessel and additional installation, repair and maintenance work.
Triton is located in block 21/30 about 193 kilometres east of Aberdeen, Scotland, at water depths of around 90 metres.
The unit produces oil and gas from the Bittern, Clapham, Pict, Saxon, Guillemot West and Northwest fields.
Joint venture partners in Triton are Dana Petroleum (51.966 percent), Shell (26.42 percent), Esso Exploration and Production UK (20 percent), a trademark of ExxonMobil, and Endeavour Energy UK (1.614 percent), a subsidiary of UK oil and gas company Endeavour International Corporation.
