Trinidad’s Blewstream, Coastal Dynamics form emissions JV

Trinidad-based global professional services network Blewstream has joined with local environmental consulting firm Coastal Dynamics to form a joint venture, Blewcoast, to provide emissions measurement, accounting, reporting and reduction.

In a press release on Thursday, the two companies described Blewcoast as an integrated provider of innovative and tailored solutions to assist companies with GHG emissions accounting and decarbonisation.

“This integrated approach is designed to overcome the challenges of traditional GHG measurement accounting, counteract greenwashing, and navigate the complexities of compliance and economic feasibility in implementing sustainability functions,” they said.

Blewcoast’s launch comes at a time of increasing pressure on companies worldwide to monitor, report and decrease GHG emissions.

The BLEWSTREAM Ecosystem is a global professional services firm providing in-demand skills, resources, and expertise to meet diverse business needs. It includes 140 professionals and has offices in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago; Calgary, Canada; and Manila, Philippines.

Coastal Dynamics is a leading environmental consulting firm providing innovative environmental solutions globally, with a focus on Latin America.
