Valero, NuStar sign refined imports agreement

Valero has entered a long-term agreement allowing its refined imports to reach more areas of Mexico via NuStar’s pipeline, international media reported on Tuesday.

Under the deal, Valero will start sending refined products from its refineries in the US state of Texas to NuStar’s terminal in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, by the end of 2018.

Valero already has a supply agreement with IEnova in Central Mexico. IEnova will receive refined products at its 1.4-million-barrel marine storage terminal in Veracruz from Valero’s refineries.
