Vår Energi set to up production in Norway

STAVANGER, July 4, 2022 – Vår Energi has signed a strategic partnership with Aker Solutions, Havfram and Saipem for fabrication, delivery and installation of subsea production equipment for upstream operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, the IOC announced on Thursday.

The five-year contract contains two extension options, both for an additional two years.

The new contract model invites all parties to share responsibilities on the work.

Vår Energi is seeking to up production from its assets to 350,000 boepd by 2025. The current output from the company’s 36 producing fields is around 250,000 boepd.
