EnerMech wins BP cranes contract extension in Trinidad

PORT OF SPAIN, August 4, 2025 – EnerMech has secured a two-year extension of its contract with bp Trinidad and Tobago to provide crane operations on the operator’s 12 offshore platforms, the company said last week.

The contract, first awarded in 2022, includes crane operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, minor modifications, offshore audits and onshore support in technical, HSE and planning areas.

Approximately 30 Trinidad and Tobago nationals will be employed under the contract in roles including crane operators, technicians and logistics personnel.

bp is the largest hydrocarbons producer in Trinidad and Tobago, operating 12 offshore platforms and three subsea installations that together produce around half of the country’s natural gas output.
