Angola’s CABSHIP and INP join forces in energy training
LUANDA, March 30, 2026 – CABSHIP and Angola’s National Petroleum Institute (INP) have signed a training agreement in Angola to develop talent for the energy sector, CABSHIP announced on Friday.
The agreement was signed during the 5th National Annual Local Content Conference in Luanda by Luís da Silva, general manager of CABSHIP, and Alegria Raul Joaquim, general manager of INP. Under the agreement, 15 individuals from Bengo, Cabinda, Luanda and Zaire provinces will receive six months of training in industrial electricity and welding.
“The partnership with INP ensures certified and standardised training, contributing to the strengthening of local content with quality and competitiveness, with a strong focus on Angolan youth,” said CABSHIP founder and CEO João Filipe.
CABSHIP is an Angolan company focused on logistics and energy asset management services. It supports oil and gas, as well as broader energy operations in the country, while advancing workforce development and national participation in the sector.
