Strategic focus and regional dialogue
Under the theme “Strategic Opportunities in Angola’s Energy Sector: Unlocking New Frontiers, Driving Growth,” the summit will celebrate Angola’s 50 year of independence and unpack the next chapter of its energy journey. The agenda will feature C-level discussions on policy reforms, upcoming licensing rounds, new frontier basins and the country’s vision for domestic gas monetisation. A special spotlight will be placed on Namibia, with discussions around joint ventures, technology transfer and regional energy corridors, reinforcing the summit’s cross-border perspective.
Confirmed speakers include Paulino Jerónimo, president of the ANPG, former Minister of Mines and Energy of Namibia Tom Alweendo and representatives from NAMCOR. Mauro Graça of Sonangol Distribuição e Comercialização will speak about the Barra do Dande Oceanic Terminal – the project revolutionising Angola’s fuel storage capacity – while Katrina Fisher of ExxonMobil and Frank Cassulo of Chevron will discuss the role of IOCs in Angola’s new energy frontiers.
Sessions will take the form of leadership roundtables, fireside chats and strategic panel discussions, with the participation of market leaders in oilfield services, logistics and technology development. The sessions will culminate in The Energy Year Awards Ceremony and a high-level networking gala to close the night.
