Alfort Petroleum is a local integrated oil and gas company that works in the upstream sector and markets and distributes petroleum products. Founded in 2007, the company’s strategy is to take on smaller E&P projects, operate to international standards and organically install itself into the market.

With Camilo Gomes as general manager, the company aims to become a leading local Angolan E&P company through the development of onshore fields, with the intent to become an offshore operator. In the long term the company aims to explore opportunities in other markets.

Assets: Alfort Petroleum is the operator of Block 8 with a 50% share.

Operational objectives: The company intends to carry out geophysical and geological field studies on its onshore field.
