DB Schenker provides global supply chain and logistics services, including transportation and operational management consulting. The company’s Angolan branch works alongside the oil and gas industry. 

After ongoing a restructuring process in 2020, DB Schenker Angola is looking to empower its local resources, identify the right talent and increase their regional market presence.

  • Current project: The company worked alongside three subcontractors to provide logistics on the construction of the Cabinda refinery. 
  • Strategic objectives: DB Schenker is focused on the oil and gas and mining sectors in Angola.
  • ESG targets: DB Schenker aims to have a 50% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 in its global operations. A significant element of the plan is the eventual electrification of their local fleet in Angola.
