Quality Power Co. for Renewable Energy is a Kuwaiti company specialised in electricity generation and distribution. With an emphasis on renewable generation technologies, Quality Power provides electrical equipment, machinery and services to public and private organisations across the Middle East. The company has offices in Kuwait, Iraq and Qatar.

A pioneer in solar solutions, Quality Power was the first company in Kuwait to install roof-mounted solar grids on public-sector property. In 2017, the company designed and delivered a pair of 1-MW PV arrays to the Ministry of Electricity & Water & Renewable Energy and the Ministry of Public Works. In another public-sector project, the company deployed 2,250 solar street-lighting units at various locations in Kuwait.

The company provides full advisory services for the design, installation, operation and maintenance of conventional and renewable energy generation systems. Following deployment, Quality Power also offers short- and long-term maintenance and repairs services, including on third-party equipment.

Through partnerships with international manufacturers, Quality Power can supply original spare parts for a wide range of electrical and industrial equipment. The company’s service and repairs workshop is one of the largest in Kuwait, with more than 1,200 square metres of indoor working space.

Quality Power has a design team dedicated to solar energy applications. The company is one of the most highly experienced solar power integrators in the region, having completed projects ranging anywhere from a dozen kilowatts to hundreds of megawatts, both on existing structures on open land.

The company also has expertise in water conservation technology. In partnership with international companies in its sector, Quality Power has installed water conservation equipment in about 5,000 private residences in Kuwait, in a project led by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences.
