Argus LPG and Petrochemical Feedstocks 2016

October 11-12, 2016

Strong LPG demand growth has Asia looking to the US to fill the lack of supply issue. Use of propane in Asia is for varying reasons. More recently, the growing petrochemical sector, steered by PDH developments in China and South Korea is the leading motive behind demand.

Iran, after the lift of sanctions, is poised to become the largest exporters of Middle East with its eye on Asia. The question is will it be a big player in the short term?

India continues to increase consumption backed further by subsidies and regulation for household cooking. However, their feedstock of choice for petrochemical crackers is naphtha. How much more are they going to import and is India’s infrastructure competent for this development?

Further to this, pricing, freight and competitive petrochemical feedstocks will be discussed in the Argus LPG and Petrochemical Feedstocks 2016 conference in Singapore.
