The International Brasil Offshore Oil and Gas Exhibition (Brasil Offshore) is held every two years in Macaé, which is the operational base for more than 80 percent of offshore exploration in Brazil.

In 2015, Brasil Offshore is in its 8th edition. The exhibition is jointly organised by the Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas, the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado.

The event, which has been running for a decade, will host more than 9,000 Petrobras employees and contractors, alongside representatives from international companies operating in the oil and gas upstream and providing associated services. The event has previously hosted 700 national and foreign exhibitors and 51,000 visitors.
