Ras Al Khaimah continues to accelerate its sustainable development agenda through the Ras Al Khaimah Integrated Sustainability (RIS) Strategy 2050, a comprehensive, emirate-wide roadmap designed to strengthen energy supply, protect the environment, and prepare the emirate for competition in a low-carbon global market.

The strategy drives the energy transition while pursuing other important priorities, such as emissions reduction, climate adaptation, air quality, water and soil management, and biodiversity protection.

RAK Energy Summit held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah has established itself as a key regional platform for advancing dialogue, collaboration. and action across the sustainable energy ecosystem.

The 2026 edition of the Summit hosted by Ras Al Khaimah Municipality in partnership with Etihad Water & Electricity (EtihadWE), will take place from 25 to 27 November 2026 at the RAK Expo Centre, Ras Al Khaimah. The Summit will be held under the theme “Create and Contribute to the Sustainable Energy Goals of the Future.” Its expanded format, over three days, reflects the growing scale, impact, and maturity of the energy transition. showcasing regional innovation. investment momentum. and cross-sector growth.

The programme will address critical priorities shaping national and regional decarbonisation pathways, including energy efficiency, renewables, future grids, Al and digitalisation, carbon markets, sustainable mobility, and the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate industries.

International thought leaders, policymakers, industry pioneers, and innovators from the public and private sectors will convene through curated sessions, panel discussions, networking forums, and live demonstrations to advance sustainable energy and climate action agendas across the UAE and the wider GCC.
