The academic agenda includes an industry outlook, the status of the projects, the infrastructure, technology and safety needs, among others.

This industry moves millions of dollars and its development in Colombia will have a positive impact on the economic growth of the country. According to the information provided by the Government, the country has become an investment destination for offshore activities and the regulatory framework has been adjusted in order to make the Colombian Caribbean basin a scenario for “Great potential” and attractive for this type of investment.

According to some industry members, the country may be more competitive than others offshore investment destinations that are already mature, such as the Gulf of Mexico and Brazil.
