Add Energy joins the Angelin development

PORT OF SPAIN, July 5, 2017 – BPTT has awarded a maintenance build contract to Add Energy for works associated with the Angelin development, international media reported on Wednesday.

“As we continue to work closely with BP and expand our presence in delivering projects in the Trinidad and Tobago region, we are delighted to have been selected for this project with BPTT Angelin,” Peter Adam, Add Energy’s executive vice-president, said in comments cited by the Scottish Business News Network.

The scope of the eight-month contract covers the development of a full asset maintenance build in addition to an asset register delivery and a functional hierarchy build.

Other works associated with the agreement will include the development of equipment maintenance strategies and job plans and procedures, among others.

BPTT’s Angelin project was sanctioned on June 2, 2017. With an anticipated production capacity of around 17 mcm (600 mcf) of natural gas per day, the four-well Angelin development is expected to begin drilling activities in Q3 2018. First gas, expected in Q1 2019, will help to stave off Trinidad and Tobago’s continuing gas shortages.
