The work will be highlighted through The Oil & Gas Year Angola 2018 and the TOGYiN business intelligence platform.
TOGY will highlight the initiatives taken by the new president, who was inaugurated in September 2017, as well as the continuing restructuring and reorganisation of Sonangol, undertaken by chairwoman Isabel dos Santos. It will report the latest news on projects such as the startup of Eni’s Cabaça field in February 2017, part of the East Hub project, the beginning of production from the main platform of Chevron’s Mafumeira Sul in March 2017, and Total’s USD 16 billion Kaombo project, the largest ever in Angola, expected to commence production in Q1 2018.
AmCham represents a new strategic partnership for TOGY in Angola as it works on its fifth consecutive report in the country and demonstrates both parties’ aspirations to promote the potential of Angola and AmCham, which counts representatives from ExxonMobil, BP, Banco BIC and Wood Group among its members.
“I think our organisations can work very well together for the promotion of Angola and Angolan companies at this important time in the country’s history,” Pedro Godinho, the president of AmCham, told TOGY.
The agreement was signed by Godinho and TOGY’s Angola country director, Michael Ballmann, on Monday, November 6, 2017.
