Angola’s CABSHIP wins industry recognition

LUANDA, October 14, 2024 – Angola’s CABSHIP, a logistics and supply chain management company focused on the oil and gas sector, has seen its achievements recognised in H2 2024.

September saw CABSHIP in the spotlight as a main event sponsor of the September 19 book launch ceremony for The Energy Year Angola 2024.

The event, attended by top executives, honoured the achievements and innovation of leading players in the Angolan energy industry.

CABSHIP celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2024, and Mr. Filipe offered words of appreciation to the industry in the context of this milestone: “I would like to thank The Energy Year for organising this event and all the stakeholders that have supported us during our first 15 years of existence. In these 15 years, we have witnessed a lot of growth, challenges and, most importantly, a lot of learning.”

In 2023, The Energy Year also recognised CABSHIP as its Local Content Champion of the Year, citing the company’s position as a leading employer in Cabinda and its longstanding commitment to developing in-country talent.

In October 2024, the company was named Best Company in the Oil & Gas Sector in an event on the sidelines of the 5th Conference and Exhibition of Oil & Gas Angola 2024.

On receiving the award, CABSHIP founder and CEO João Filipe said, “This recognition is a reflection not only of our hard work but also of the dedication and commitment of our entire team. It is, equally, a recognition of Angolan local content. I would like to thank every member of our company in Cabinda, Soyo and Luanda, whose passion and innovation drove us to reach this milestone.
