Aqualis completes Egina job

Aqualis Offshore has completed its position-keeping job for the Egina FPSO, the company announced Tuesday.

“The entire position-keeping job and installation of the first eight mooring lines was completed safely and on schedule,” said Phil Lenox, the company’s Asia-Pacific director.

The Egina FPSO set sail for the offshore field last month. It is spread moored on a total of 16 mooring lines.

The Egina field, operated by French super-major Total with a 24% stake, is located 150 kilometres offshore Nigeria, in water depths of 1,750 metres, on OML 130.
