Argentina’s energy secretary resigns
BUENOS AIRES, December 31, 2018 – Argentina’s energy secretary has quit, international media reported on Friday.
While no reason was provided for the resignation of Javier Iguacel, the news came shortly after plans for a 35% increase of electricity prices in 2019 were leaked, Reuters reported.
Iguacel is to be replaced by Gustavo Lopetegui, the report added.
