Casualties in ONGC drillship explosion

NEW DELHI, February 13, 2018 – Five people have died and at least 11 others have been injured in an explosion on an ONGC drillship in India, local media reported on Tuesday.

 

The Sagar Bhushan was docked for repairs at Cochin Shipyard in the city of Kerala in southern India when the accident happened, NDTV reported.

“Preliminary inquiry suggests that the deaths happened due to intense smoke,” police sources told the TV station.
