Australia PERTH, October 31, 2017 – Chevron’s first LNG cargo produced at the Wheatstone project in Australia has departed for Japan, the super-major announced on Tuesday.
After several delays, the facility came on stream on October 9, 2017.

“The Wheatstone Project is Australia’s first third-party natural gas hub enabling future development of the vast natural gas resources offshore Western Australia. Through collaboration our goal is to efficiently develop and commercialise this resource.”
