Dominica partners with Trinidad for decarbonisation

GLASGOW, November 9, 2021 – Kenesjay Green has signed an MoU with Climate Resilience Execution Agency for Dominica to develop green alternatives across the value chain of Dominica’s energy industry, the Trinidadian technology provider announced on Sunday.

Under the agreement Kenesjay Green will act as project developer to establish an eco-industrial park and explore possibilities in green hydrogen production, decarbonising options and the country’s 2-GW geothermal potential.

“We see immense investment potential based on the abundance of Dominica’s geo-thermal energy, enabling many new export industries and creating green technology jobs,” said Philip Julien, chairman of Kenesjay Green.

The agreement was signed during COP26 in Glasgow.
