Further finds made at Brazil’s Atlanta field

BRASíLIA, May 26, 2023 – Enauta Energia has made new oil discoveries at its producing Atlanta field offshore Brazil, the Brazilian oil and gas player announced on Thursday.

The area – dubbed Atlanta NE – is estimated to contain more than 230 million barrels of oil in place.

The find was made at the 9-ATL-8DP well located in water depths of 2,644 metres on the BS-4 block on the Santos basin.

The area is currently under development using the FPSO Petrojarl I, which is tied back to three wells.

The FPSO began production in 2018.

The asset will be replaced by the FPSO Atlanta, which is expected to be fully operational by 2024 with an expected production capacity of 50,000 bopd.

The new asset will tie back to six wells and ramp up to ten wells by 2029.

Enauta Energia has a 100% stake in the field.
