Gazprom signs deal with Iran

TEHRAN, December 14, 2017 – Gazprom has signed a roadmap agreement with the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum, the company announced Wednesday. 

 

The MoU covers a proof-of-concept study on the implementation of integrated projects for hydrocarbon production, transmission and processing. The work will include petrochemistry and be conducted in Iran.

The deal was signed by Alexey Miller, the chairman of Gazprom’s management committee; Ali Kardor, Iran’s deputy minister of petroleum and CEO of National Iranian Oil Company; and Nasrat Rahimi, the chairman of the board of directors of the Oil Industry Pension, Saving and Staff Welfare Fund.
