Halliburton reaches API Q2

LUANDA, February 21, 2018 – Halliburton Angola announced Wednesday that its Angolan facilities had received American Petroleum Institute Q2 registration.

The company’s Sonils, Malembo and Soyo facilities are the first in the country to receive the registration, which focuses on competency, service design, contingency planning, supply chain controls, preventive maintenance, inspection, service quality plans and management of change.

“This registration is a testament to the commitment, teamwork and dedication of our Angolan employees to quality management and operational efficiency,” said Jean Marc Lopez, managing director of Halliburton Angola and Congo region. “We are proud of this landmark achievement and will not waiver in our continued focus on safety and service quality.”

All of Halliburton’s business segments are represented in Angola, from cementing, stimulation, well intervention and completion services, to field and reservoir modelling, drilling and evaluation.
