Interoil’s Triceratops flow test a success

PORT MORSEBY, September 18, 2015 – Singaporean operator Interoil’s onshore appraisal well Triceratops-3 has delivered strong flow test results, at 484,272 cubic metres (17.1 mcf) of gas per day and an average of 200 barrels of condensate per day.

 

Triceratops-3 is found in the Triceratops field located in the onshore segment of the Eastern Papuan Basin, Papua New Guinea. The well was drilled to a depth of 2,090 metres.

In 2012, Interoil finalised a farm-in agreement with Canadian operator Pacific Rubiales Energy for a 10-percent interest in the Triceratops field.
