Kuwait eyes output boost
Kuwait “The company seeks to […] increase our production capacity of natural gas to 1 billion cubic feet [28.3 mcm] per day and to 250,000 [bopd] of light crude in the next five years,” Jamal Jaafar, the CEO of NOC Kuwait Oil Company, said in a TV interview cited by Gulf News.
The remarks came at the official launch of exports of Kuwait Super Light Crude with an API gravity of 47 degrees and sulphur content of 1.6%. Nevertheless, some sales of the new grade were reported earlier this year.
