The five-year agreement includes FEED, project management and associated services.
Technip Energies classifies the call-off deal as a large award, which has an expected value of between USD 265 million and USD 230 million. The cost of the contract is dependent on work handed out by Kuwait Oil Company.
The arrangement is a renewal of an original five-year contract signed in 2014.
“This award reinforces the strong and lasting relationship we have built with KOC and reaffirms our outstanding consultancy delivery as well as our long-standing presence in Kuwait,” said Charles Cessot, senior vice-president of consulting and products for the company’s T.EN X business line.
Projects associated with the contract were not disclosed.
