The TOGY Mexico team presented the award to Andrés A. Fusco Clynes, energy commissioner of the Tamaulipas Energy Commission (CETAM), on February 13 at CETAM’s offices in Mexico City.
The award recognises the ambitious development and expansion plans implemented by the Port of Matamoros in 2018, including ongoing dredging works, issuing a request for proposals for the first phase of the project and preparing for the development of a multipurpose terminal to boost offshore activity in the region.
The Port of Matamoros is part of CETAM’s ambitious plan to transform the state of Tamaulipas into a regional energy powerhouse through the development of a diversified energy portfolio drawing from both non-renewable and renewable energy sources.
