New wells raise Egypt’s output

In the same report, the ministry indicated that these wells include Petrobel’s Nedoco South-West 2, which has a gas production capacity of some 2.4 mcm (85 mcf) per day, and Nedoco West 3, the capacity of which stands at around 2.5 mcm (90 mcf) per day. Both came on line in November 2016.

The report also noted that production from Petrobel’s North-West 2 and 6 wells currently averages 2.8 mcm (100 mcf) and 3.9 mcm (140 mcf), respectively.
