Nigerian pipeline hit by second blast
Nigeria The statement followed reports of an explosion at a petroleum facility in the area. The NNPC has ordered immediate repairs to the pipeline and additional gas supplies from other regions to fill the gap.
Last week a fire on the pipeline cut off supplies to six Nigerian power plants, shutting down the national electricity grid. The NNPC had announced the resumption of gas supply Monday.
