NuEnergy’s progress in South Sumatra

JAKARTA, July 10, 2015 – On Friday, Australian oil and gas company NuEnergy announced it has completed drilling its core wells for the Tanjung Enim Production Sharing Contract in Indonesia’s South Sumatra. The company has discovered 49 metres of coal seams.
The company also announced that its Core Well TE-008c had reached its target depth and found more than 13 metres of a single coal seam. Its second core well, the TE-007C, has a truck mounted rig that will drill to a depth of 300 metres.
The Australian company specialises in drilling unconventional gas resources in Indonesia. The Tanjung Enim Production Sharing Contract is located in a place on the South Sumatra Basin with prolific coal bed methane.
