The collaboration’s non-incorporated agreement is for the joint design, development and delivery of integrated subsea development solutions.
“The technology and expertise from Subsea 7 perfectly complements OneSubsea’s ‘Pore to Process’ business strategy to offer a holistic approach to subsea development solutions. Our established competencies in subsurface modelling and production systems engineering will be further strengthened by integrating the SURF [subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines systems] expertise provided by Subsea 7.” Mike Garding, OneSubsea Chief Executive Officer told Offshore Energy Today.
Previously, on July 9th 2015, OneSubsea entered into a joint venture with Chevron for the development of a subsea system capable of operating in a 20,000-psi high-pressure environment in addition to withstanding high temperatures.
