OPEC puts Angola at the helm in 2021
Angola Angola will replace Algeria, which has held the presidency during 2020.
Angola, Africa’s second-largest oil producer, held the OPEC presidency once before, in 2009. The leadership position is normally granted annually following alphabetical order.
The country’s OPEC head of delegation is H.E. Diamantino Pedro Azevedo, who also serves as its minister of mineral resources and petroleum.
