SHARJAH, March 1, 2024 – Singapore’s Petrozo Energy will build a USD 32.7-million integrated oil product plant focusing on bitumen in the UAE, Argus reported on Thursday.

The 40,000-square-metre plant will be completed this year in the Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah.

It will include a 5,000-tonne bitumen storage tank, a production unit and storage tanks for value-added bituminous products such as polymer modified bitumen (PMB), as well as storage tanks for base oils, lubricants and middle distillates, along with multiple drum and bitutainer filling stations.

The plant’s bituminous products unit will have a capacity of 6,000 tonnes per month.
