SapuraKencana bags multi-year contracts
Malaysia The majority of the work will be executed through its joint venture with GE Oil & Gas. The entity will provide maintenance services for compressors and gas turbines to Murphy Sarawak Oil for a duration of 10 years. The joint venture will work on Petronas’ floating LNG vessel, the PFLNG 1, specifically on the GE-provided equipment, such as generators, aeroderivative gas turbines and centrifugal compressors.
Elsewhere, SapuraKencana saw its drilling contracts with BP in Trinidad and Tobago extended. The company’s semi-submersible tender assist drilling rig SKD Jaya will now remain in use until April 2016.
