SDX spuds new well in Morocco

Morocco
Days after announcing a gas find in the KSR-15 well in the Sebou permit in Morocco, SDX Energy announced on Friday it had spudded the KSR-16 well nearby.

“The well is anticipated to take 20-25 days to drill and complete,” the company, which owns a 75% stake in the permit, said in a statement. “This is the third of a nine well drilling programme on the company’s Sebou, Gharb Centre and Lalla Mimouna permits in Morocco.”

The discovery of 17.2 metres of net conventional gas pay in the KSR-15 well came on the heels of the company striking 20 metres of gas deposits in the KSR-14 well in the same permit in October.
