Shell mulls Nigeria gas venture
ABUJA, June 20, 2017 – Shell is considering to throw its weight behind a gas project in Nigeria, a local company executive said on Tuesday.
According to the managing director of Shell Petroleum Development Company, Osagie Okunbo, the company has its sights set on a project in the Niger Delta.
The unnamed venture would have production capacity of 8.5 mcm (300 mcf) of natural gas per day, he told Reuters.
