SNC-Lavalin unit bags Oman work

MONTREAL, March 7, 2017 – Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has awarded Kentz Overseas Company a five-year commissioning support services contract, parent SNC-Lavalin said on Tuesday.

Under a framework agreement that runs through 2022, Kentz will provide systems completions, commissioning and start-up services and work on Rabab Harweel Integrated Project and the Yibal Khuff Project.

The wholly owned SNC-Lavalin subsidiary will additionally provide planning, management, supervision and consultancy services, as well as develop training programmes for Omanis.

“We are pleased to support PDO on these integrated schemes that are key to sustaining our client’s long-term output,” president of SNC-Lavalin’s oil and gas division Martin Adler said, adding that the agreement marked the company’s first with PDO.
