Somoil launches tender for oilfield maintenance

Angolan oil and gas major Somoil* has launched a public tender for maintenance services covering wellheads, manifolds and process valves at its operated Block 2/05.

Somoil is looking to double production at Block 2/05, which it operates with a 3o%  working interest. The company sees potential of 40,000 bopd of production at the block.

Block 2/05 is home to 18 oilfields – 17 of which are developed – with combined reserves of more than 500 million barrels.
