Subsea7 unveils contract win in Turkish Black Sea
Turkey ISTANBUL, May 10, 2024 – Subsea7 on Friday announced the award of a contract valued at up to USD 500 million to the Subsea Integration Alliance for works on an FPU at Turkey’s first deepwater gasfield.
The contract was awarded by Turkish Petroleum for the installation of the FPU as part of phase two of the Sakarya field development, situated in the Black Sea off the Turkish coast.
It follows an initial contract award to Subsea Integration Alliance, SLB and Saipem for EPCI works on the phase-two project.
Subsea7 defined the new contract as “large,” meaning its value is in the range of USD 300 million-500 million.
Subsea7’s scope will include the installation and integration of risers, umbilicals, hook-ups and mooring systems with the FPU.
