TechnipFMC bags additional works in Guyana

GEORGETOWN, May 3, 2022 – TechnipFMC has been awarded a contract for six high-pressure and high-temperature flexibles on ExxonMobil’s Yellowtail development in Guyana, the Houston-based technology provider announced on Monday.

 

Cost of the transaction is between USD 75 million and USD 250 million.

The company also received full notice to proceed with a contract arranged in November 2021 for management, engineering, manufacturing and testing of the project’s subsea production system. This includes 51 enhanced vertical deepwater trees and 12 manifolds, all with associated tooling and equipment.

The Yellowtail project on Guyana’s offshore Stabroek Block is expected to begin production in 2025.
