TechnipFMC bags Malaysia deal

Murphy Sabah Oil has awarded TechnipFMC a subsea contract offshore Malaysia, the engineering major announced on Friday.

The value of the deal, which covers EPCIC work for the Phase 1A Block H Gas Development Project, was not disclosed.

“We are proud to have been awarded this contract from Murphy Sabah Oil which demonstrates the strength of our solutions and deepwater capabilities in Malaysia,” Hallvard Hasselknippe, president for subsea projects at TechnipFMC, said in a statement.
