The Spanish EPC player will carry out the engineering, project management, procurement and construction management for a hydrocarbons storage and dispatch terminal to serve production from the shale play.
The contract was awarded by Argentinian state-owned energy heavyweight YPF.
The five-tank terminal will have a storage capacity of 600,000 cubic metres. Its dispatch capacity will be 62,000 cubic metres per day through two monobuoys capable of loading VLCC tankers.
Técnicas Reunidas was previously responsible for optimising the conceptual engineering developed by YPF for the terminal project.
